We teach our children to treat books like little treasures; never write in a book, never spill food or water on a book, always use a bookmark instead of folding the pages down and never rip or cut a book. Ok, so now I’m telling you to lighten up. I say get out the old books and start creating! My elementary school librarian just choked on her cup of tea.
Let’s face it, not ALL books are worth cherishing, sharing or saving. You must admit that there are a few duds out there. I say we can sacrifice one or two in the name of creativity and home decor, right? In this age of Pinterest-inspired crafts, I came across hundreds of ideas for adorable projects using old books. This bookfolding idea particularly caught my eye.
