These cute ornaments are a great way to use your miscellaneous pieces of scrapbook paper. I’m sure you know exactly what I mean—all those pieces of gorgeous paper that you can’t bear to throw away! Change up the paper depending on the kind of vibe you want: sophisticated, funky, whimsical, etc. And the best part is that they’re easy so you can make tons!
Supplies
-Paper strips cut as follows:
- 1 piece @ 4 1/2 inches
- 2 pieces @ 5 inches
- 2 pieces @ 6 inches
-Glue
-Twine or ribbon for hanging
Step 1
- Glue all 5 pieces together on one end
- Spread the glue evenly for each section, approximately 1/2 inch square
Step 2
- Pull the medium-sized pieces up so they are flush with the small piece
- Glue both sides in place
Step 3
- Glue the long pieces up so they are flush with the bottom of the other 3 pieces
- If needed, you can make adjustments as you go along, then trim the bottom as needed
Step 4
- Attach ribbon or twine for hanging
